Pet Safety & Product Use

Pet Safety & Product Use

At Wildmora, we want every product to be used in a way that supports your pet’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

Every pet is different. Please choose products based on your pet’s size, age, strength, behavior, health, and comfort level. Always read the product information before use and supervise your pet where appropriate.

General Safety Guidelines

For all pet products, please follow these basic safety rules:

  • Supervise your pet during use, especially with toys, feeders, grooming tools, lick mats, bowls, leashes, and electronic products.
  • Remove any product if it becomes damaged, cracked, torn, heavily chewed, or unsafe.
  • Do not allow pets to swallow small parts, fabric, stuffing, strings, wires, plastic pieces, batteries, or accessories.
  • Choose the correct size, variant, and product type for your pet.
  • Introduce new products slowly and stop use if your pet shows fear, discomfort, irritation, stress, or unusual behavior.
  • Keep products clean and dry when not in use.
  • Store products safely away from pets when unsupervised, especially if your pet tends to chew or destroy items.

Toys & Enrichment Products

Pet toys and enrichment products are designed to support play, stimulation, and bonding.

They are not intended for unsupervised chewing unless clearly stated.

When using toys such as puzzle feeders, snuffle toys, rolling toys, teaser toys, lick mats, or fetch toys:

  • Supervise your pet during play.
  • Check the product before and after each use.
  • Remove the toy if it becomes torn, broken, cracked, or damaged.
  • Do not allow your pet to swallow loose parts, strings, feathers, stuffing, or plastic pieces.
  • Use short play sessions and avoid overstimulation.
  • For treat-hiding toys, use suitable dry treats or kibble unless the product page says otherwise.

Some pets may ignore certain toys, while others may play roughly. Always choose toys based on your pet’s personality and behavior.

Feeding Products, Bowls & Treat Accessories

Feeding accessories, lick mats, slow feeders, treat spoons, and enrichment bowls should be used responsibly.

Please follow these guidelines:

  • Use only pet-safe foods.
  • Clean feeding products after use.
  • Do not leave wet food sitting for long periods.
  • Avoid using damaged, cracked, or heavily chewed feeding products.
  • Monitor your pet while eating or licking.
  • Choose products that match your pet’s size and eating habits.

Avoid ingredients that are unsafe for pets, including chocolate, xylitol, grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, alcohol, heavily sweetened foods, and anything your veterinarian has advised against.

If your pet has allergies, digestive issues, medical conditions, or special dietary needs, consult your veterinarian before introducing new foods or treat routines.

Grooming Products

Grooming tools are designed to help with brushing, loose fur, cleaning, coat care, and comfort.

When using grooming products:

  • Introduce the product slowly.
  • Use gentle pressure.
  • Avoid irritated, injured, sensitive, or inflamed skin.
  • Avoid eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and sensitive areas.
  • Stop use if your pet shows discomfort, fear, skin irritation, or stress.
  • Clean grooming tools regularly.
  • Use electric or rechargeable grooming tools only according to the product instructions.

Grooming products are not medical devices and should not be used to treat skin conditions, infections, wounds, or health problems. For health concerns, contact a qualified veterinarian.

Walking, Travel & Outdoor Products

Walking and travel products such as leashes, water bottles, poop scoopers, paw cleaners, and outdoor toys should always be used with care.

For walking products:

  • Keep your pet close near roads, crowds, bikes, children, other animals, or unsafe areas.
  • Use a properly fitted collar or harness.
  • Check clips, handles, locks, straps, and moving parts before use.
  • Stop using the product if any part becomes damaged or worn.
  • Use retractable leashes responsibly and do not wrap the leash around hands, fingers, legs, or other body parts.

For travel and hydration products:

  • Use clean drinking water only.
  • Bring extra water for long walks, hot weather, large dogs, or high-activity outings.
  • Clean and dry bottles, bowls, and travel accessories regularly.

For paw cleaners:

  • Use gently.
  • Do not use on injured, irritated, cracked, or sensitive paws.
  • Dry your pet’s paws after cleaning to avoid moisture between paw pads.

Electronic & Rechargeable Products

Some Wildmora products may include USB charging, lights, sensors, timers, batteries, or other electronic components.

For electronic products:

  • Follow the product instructions carefully.
  • Charge only as directed.
  • Keep charging ports and electrical parts dry.
  • Do not allow pets to chew cables, batteries, lights, or electronic components.
  • Do not use damaged electronic products.
  • Store electronic products safely when not in use.
  • Supervise your pet during use.

For timed feeders, always test the product before relying on it for your pet’s meals. Check that batteries work, the timer is set correctly, and the product opens or functions as expected.
